The Savannah Guides are a non-profit organisation that was born in the Gulf Savannah region of Queensland and now have a number of guide sites and operators throughout Northern Australia.

Savannah Guide Stations

Undara Experience – 40 kms east of Mount Surprise on the south-western edge of the Atherton Tableland in North Queensland.

Cobbold Gorge Tours – 45 kms south west of Forsayth in North Queensland.

Wilderness Challenge – A Cairns based 4WD tour operator who conducts interpretive tours throughout the tropical savannahs of northern Australia including Cape York, the Gulf Savannah, Kakadu and the Kimberley region.

Outback Aussie Tours – Based in the heart of Queensland’s Channel Country, Outback Aussie Tours package some of Australia’s most impressive historical, cultural and archeological attractions.

Adel’s Grove – Located near Lawn Hill National Park and Riversleigh Fossil Fields offering activities, tours, and accommodation in this historical site previously home to a Botanical Garden.

Bedrock Village Tours – Weekly half-day tours around the Mount Surprise region.

QR Traveltrain – Scenic historic rail journeys into Queensland’s Rainforest and Outback.

Mt Bundy Station, Adelaide River, NT - Cattle station experience and horse riding with camping and accommodation between Katherine and Darwin.

Capricorn Caves, Rockhampton, QLD – Spectacular above-ground caves in a limestone ridge located north of Rockhampton Queensland with experiences ranging from easy walking tours and wheelchair accessible caves to wild caving adventure tours. Camping and accommodation available.
